Caribbean conglomerate GraceKennedy will roll out its mobile payments platform under its GraceKennedy Money Services (GKMS) arm later this month.
Called GK MPay, it can be accessed through island wide locations. This technological platform will allow people to pay bills, purchase goods and services and engagement in peer-to-peer transfers.
GK MPay can be effectively utilized on mobile telephone handsets making it convenient and accessible.
Speaking about this latest Grace innovation, GraceKennedy CEO Don Wehby is reported to have said: “GK MPay is a world-class service which makes use of the best technology in order to create a one-stop-shop for a range of transactions. This innovative product will help increase financial inclusion, while giving the financially savvy another safe, convenient way to transact business.”
GraceKennedy operates throughout the Caribbean and at this time has not announced plans to roll out GK MPay in the markets there where it has a presence.
